Default Cortisone shots: how many is too many?

I have two orthopedic docs I go to. One says any more than two shots is detrimental in the long run and the other says 3 or more is ok.
Has anyone here had more than two in one spot?

I've had two in one elbow tendon and have three options.
    1. physical therapy
    2. Surgery
    3. Another cortisone shot

My ortho says two. I have a really bad case of tennis elbow and have had two shots since january. He told me the next time we see each other will be to schedule surgery. I hope it's not for awhile, I have a bottle of diesel and epistrong waiting to go!

I heard it takes up to 3 shots to feel the effects.

I personally wouldent even take one and my backs ****ed up.

****s very bad for you i dont care what anyone says. fuk that ****.
but its yoru call.some cases if you need it you need it. me my only issue is emmense PAIN then ill take the pain and try to manage it.
break down my tissue and make me weaker on top of other issues that might arise from it, to dull pain? fuk it.

    just my op..

The fewer the better. No more than 3 a year is what I've learned.
